Not required. Cool, dry storage is sufficient. Cooked rice should be refrigerated within 2 hours and consumed within 24 hours.

As a guide, about 2.5–3 cups of water per cup of Matta, cooked until tender. Adjust for your preferred texture.

How do I get separate biryani grains?

Soak Basmati or Jeerakasala for 20 minutes, drain, then cook with a slight excess of water and remove from heat as soon as the grains are just done.
